The JKD Nucleus

The JKD Nucleus is a group of martial artists and non-martial artists that goal is to preserve the teachings of Bruce Lee.  With Linda Lee Cadwell and Shannon Lee Keasler at the helm, the group consists of predominantly ex-students of Sifu Dan Inosanto.

The Nucleus is in the process of disseminating what they feel is Sigung Lee's art... the success or failure at this task is based solely on your interpretaion of what JKD stands for.  Personally, as a historical preservation group I feel their goal is a noble one, as a body of individuals whose intent is to further the art and science of JKD I feel they have fallen far short of their goal.

Bremmer, Bob Primary Instructor: Sifu Dan Inosanto; also had a dozen or so lessons under Sigung Lee.  Recognized by Sifu Inosanto as an instructor.
Bustillo, Richard Primary instructor: Sifu Dan Inosanto; also has a few lessons under Sigung Lee.  Made instructor by Sifu Inosanto after Sigung Lee’s death.
Cadwell, Linda Lee Primary Instructor: Sigung Bruce Lee.  Wife and personal student of Sigung Lee; no instructor credentials on record.
Golden, Steve Primary Instructor: Sifu Dan Inosanto; also had a few lessons under Sigung Bruce Lee.  Trained in Los Angeles Chinatown school from February 1967 to August 1967 (~6 months).  Granted permission to teach what he knows by Sifu Inosanto.
Gong, Tommy Primary Instructor: Sifu Ted Wong.  Made instructor by Sifu Wong.
Hartsell, Larry Primary instructor: Sifu Dan Inosanto.  Has had a few training sessions with Sigung Bruce Lee.  Made instructor by Sifu  Inosanto after Sigung Lee’s death.
Jackson, Herb Primary instructor: Sigung Bruce Lee; trained with Sifu Inosanto as a beginner.  No instructor credentials on record.  Mr. Jackson was very close to Siging Lee and provided him with custom made training equipment.
Jacobs, Pete Primary Instructor: Sifu Dan Inosanto; had a few training sessions with Sigung Lee.  Given permission by Sifu Inosanto to instruct private students at his home.
Joe, Allen Primary Instructor: Sifu James Lee.  1st generation student under Sifu James Lee in Oakland, CA.
Keasler, Shannon Lee Daughter of Sigung Lee; no instructor credentials on record.
Kent, Chris Primary instructor: Sifu Dan Inosanto.  Made instructor after Sigung Lee’s death.  Has never trained under Sigung Lee. 
Kimura, Taky Primary Instructor: Sigung Bruce Lee.  1st generation student and senior instructor under Sigung Lee in Seattle, WA.
Lee, Dan Primary instructor: Sifu Dan Inosanto.  He did train under Sigung Bruce Lee; approximately 10 to 12 times.  Recognized and acknowledged by Dan Insanto as an instructor. 
Lee, George Primary Instructor: Sifu James Lee.  1st generation student under Sifu James Lee in Oakland, CA; no instructor credentials on record.
Lee, Greglon Primary Instructor: George Lee.  2nd generation student under George Lee in Oakland, CA; no instructor credentials on record.
Little, John ‘Martial Arts Historian’ with the Sigung Lee’s Estate; no instructor credentials on record.
Poteet, Jerry Primary instructor: Sifu Dan Inosanto; had a few training sessions under Sigung Lee.  Made instructor by Sifu Inosanto after Sigung Lee’s death.
Tackett, Tim Primary instructor: Sifu Dan Inosanto. Had no training under Sigung Lee.  Made instructor by Sifu Inosanto after Sigung Lee’s death.
Wong, Ted Primary instructor(s): Sifu Dan Inosanto and Sigung Bruce Lee.  Beginning student under Sifu Inosanto from February 1967 to May of 1968.  At that time he became a private student under Sigung Lee.  Made instructor by Sifu Inosanto after Sigung Lee’s death.
